Subsequent to the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 for the first time there is now a legal requirement placed on the responsible person to provide fire safety training for all employees.
To ensure that your company fully complies with its duties for fire safety training as required by the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 Compass can provide at your workplace an accredited training course. The course duration is between 2½ to 3 hours and can be delivered at a time to suit your requirements including evenings and weekends.
The course costs £350; a small additional charge maybe added for training courses held outside a 40 mile radius of Horsham.
For those companies such as doctors surgeries where staff training time is limited Compass can provide a shortened course of approximately 1 hour but unfortunately to achieve this reduction in time the practical fire extinguisher demonstration which includes extinguishing real fire will need to be excluded.
The course will cover;
- Basic fire safety
- Current fire safety legislation
- Personal safety
- Different types of fire
- Duties of the fire marshal/warden (before and during an evacuation)
- Emergency evacuation and disabled evacuation
- Theoretical and practical use of fire extinguishers.
Certificates will be issued to all those who attend the course.
