YOUR PATHWAY TO COMPLIANCE
If you employ 5 or more people (including part-time workers and volunteers) or you work under any kind of licence the responsible person should ensure that a suitable and sufficient fire risk assessment is undertaken by a competent person.
This assessment must be in writing and kept as a permanent record within your premises.
Compass will provide a written risk assessment which complies with the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 and the standards contained within the PAS 79 document.
The assessment will detail:
- Means of escape and fire hazards
- Fire protection measures, including fire alarms
- Emergency lighting requirements
- Fire fighting equipment
- Management of fire safety
- Responsibilities for disabled persons (PEEPS)
- Evacuation plans
- Fire safety training needs
- Action plans
Pricing structures may vary according to the size, location and the number of premises to be inspected. If you are not sure if you need a fire risk assessment just give us a call, we will be happy to help with any questions, we can usually provide a no obligation quotation over the telephone.
Once the assessment is carried out the report would normally be with you within 5 working days as an electronic copy, printed or both. Mark has undertaken more than 4000 fire risk assessments and although our company is based in Horsham distance does not pose a problem, we have undertaken work as far afield as Dover, Swindon, Birmingham and Leeds.
